Un giorno, nell’Oceano,
ma non so più sotto quali cieli,
gettai, come un’offerta al nulla,
qualche goccia d’un vino raro.

Liquore, chi volle la tua rovina?
Obbedivo forse all’indovino?...
O forse all’ansia del mio cuore,
pensando al sangue, versando il vino?

Assunse una lieve ombra color rosa
Il mare, poi puro si rifece,
ritrovando la sua abituale trasparenza…
Perduto il vino, ebbre le onde…

Balzare nell’aria amara
Ho visto figure immense…
